For me however, I'm using a Pixel 2 XL which doesn't have a headphone jack so I can't use this. Most telescopic controllers do not have a way to plug in your headphones so this is a nice touch.

What this allows you to is plug in your headphones while using the controller. Included in the box is an angled headphone jack adapter.

For emulation, this isn't too useful since you probably only want to use the right control pad and not the right trigger module. This allows you to swap it out for different modules. The Dual Thorn caught my eyes because it resembled the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons in that the right side can be slide on and off. Overall, it's not a bad first impression for the price. The controller has a texture on the back that helps you grip it which I really like. The plastic mode has a lot of rough edges, but nothing terribly bad. The controller build quality is fine, I would say it's on par with something like the ipega Red Knight or Daqi M1. What you get is the controller itself, a headphone jack adapter, a compact right trigger, right control pad, and of course the user manual. The box that it comes in is nothing special. When I saw this controller posted on this subreddit a few weeks ago, I was curious to see how well it works. For the past two weeks I've been using the ipega PG-9167 "Dual Thorn" as my phone and tablet controller.
